We believe church is a family, not an event. So when we gather together, we want people to form genuine relationships. If you're new, please introduce yourself by filling out our digital connect card so we can make contact with you.
We would love for you to connect with our Midtown family by participating in any of the following:
LifeGroups are not simply a once-a-week meeting, Sunday School class, Bible study, or a new mission strategy, but rather a way to live normal, everyday life together with others. These groups are a primary means for helping one another to grow closer to Jesus, caring deeply for one another, and inviting people into our community to hear and experience the good news of Jesus.
Serve on Sundays: Opportunities to serve are available on Sundays and throughout the week. Ranging from Host Team to Student Groups, there is a chance for each us to leverage our lives to love and serve others.
Sunday Classes: Throughout the year we provide classes to help equip and grow our church family.
101: Midtown Class covers the basics of how our church works and functions as our membership class.
201: LifeGroup Class focuses on strengthening LifeGroups and developing Core Core Group Members.
Milestones is a customizable 18-year discipleship program for anyone who wants to raise kids who love Jesus. The goal is to help parents be the most confident, well-equipped, joy-filled parents they can be as they raise kids toward Godward independence. Kids are incredible gifts.
Kidtown: We believe parents are the primary disciple-makers of their children, so we equip people (parents, volunteers, LifeGroups, etc.) in our church to help kids understand the gospel and develop a relationship with Jesus. In Kidtown, we disciple kids, teach the Bible, sing to Jesus, build relationships, and provide training, all in the direction of seeing our kids launched out as maturing disciples.
Preteens: Preteens are in a unique stage as they transition from young children to teenagers! We desire to find the balance between hands-on, kinesthetic learning and deep, meaningful discussions that prepare them for the middle-school years.
Imprint Special Care Ministry: The Imprint Ministry all kids and students, regardless of ability or life stage, can experience the love of Jesus and learn about God’s Word. This is accomplished through our Imprint Buddies, who work with a specific child to build a personal relationship and provide one-on-one support during the Gatherings and Students.
Students: Jesus is better than anything else, so we want to see Jesus get a hold of students’ hearts and change the entire trajectory of their lives. Midtown Students exists to provide a place for students (6th -12th grade) to connect with God, peers, and dedicated adult leaders, who help them learn more about Jesus.
College: College Students are our city’s lifeblood, and we want to equip our students to live confidently as Christians on campus. We strive to disciple them in what it looks like to be a believer while in school and prepare them to be faithful after graduation.
Serve the City: God is often described as having a heart for the orphan, the widow, the poor, and the sick. In other words, God cares for the most vulnerable and marginalized people. Since God cares for them, we want to do the same. Throughout the year, we partner with organizations serving the most vulnerable people in our area. We join in their work and also encourage them.
Recovery is a group that meets in a 10-week cycle to help people achieve freedom and healing from issues that seem unbeatable in their lives. Our focus is on the gospel leading us to repentance and healing, so it applies to any area of life, no matter how seemingly big or small.
One of the best ways to connect to our church family is by participating in the variety of events we host throughout the year. From classes to community outreach, we hope these gathering opportunities bring us together as a family and help us look more and more like the people of God. Below you can see a handful of upcoming events.
KNOWN AND LOVED
“Known and loved.” That’s a powerful phrase.
At some level, all of us are looking for places in life where we feel known and loved. Some of us have that, and some of us don’t. Others of us are looking for that in family, romance, friendships, or any number of things - and have felt hurt or betrayed in the process.
And yet, the beauty of Scripture says this is what Jesus offers us when we follow Him.
For this series, we’ll spend three weeks looking at how Scripture calls us to be known and loved by God, known and loved by each other, and making Jesus’ love known to our neighbors.
Serving is a way to build relationships within our family, beyond LifeGroup. It helps weave our church's fabric and allows each of us to use our gifts from God to support our family.
